Archival Collections

The Rock Island County Historical Society has over 400 archival collections in our holdings, ranging from pioneer diaries, to 19th century school records.  To search the database enter the subject, keyword, person, business, organization etc. that you are searching for in the search box. The database's search results will display the ID, Collection, Title, Object ID, Container, Condition, Permanent (location), and Date (of creation) of the collection.

Archival Collections that match your search results can be viewed during normal business hours in the presence of a staff member.  Archival collections may only be photocopied by staff members, and archival materials that are fragile and/or brittle or protected by any restriction set by the donor cannot be photocopied.
