Book Collection

The Rock Island County Historical Society has over 12,000 books encompassing topics from regional history to genealogy.  Our collection includes : yearbooks, obituaries, birth, marriage,and death indexes, city directories, family histories, and cemetery, business, city, village, and county histories. The Book Collection Database searches the title, author, and summary of the books in the Society's collection.  Results displayed are Title, Author, Date, and Call Number.

All books located in the Book Collection database can be found at the Society using the Call Number displayed in the search results at the library only.  For researchers who are unable to visit the library, please contact the Society for more information at (309) 798-0260.
