In 2011, the Rock Island County Historical Society through a the generosity of the granting foundations: Moline Community Foundation, Rock Island Community Foundation, Doris & Victor Day Foundation, Hunt & Diane Harris Family Foundation, and individuals Thomas Getz, and Rock Island County Historical Society Board Members, Charlie Pierce, John Michalski, Janet Moline, Robert Pettit, Edward Simpson, Paul Johnston, and Nancy Huse, the Society was able to update our website, to be able make the resources we have at the Society accessible to anyone with internet access.
