The Rock Island County Historical Society hosts a variety of programs throughout the year that celebrate our local heritage and bring the community together. From engaging luncheons to seasonal open houses, our events offer something for history lovers of all ages.

Historical Society Friends Luncheons

The Historical Society Friends Luncheons were created to spark interest in the Society through engaging historical presentations. The first luncheon was held on April 15, 2002, at the Deere-Wiman Carriage House in Moline, Illinois. Since then, these gatherings have become a beloved tradition for members and guests alike.

Schedule

• Held on the third Tuesday of each month (except July and August)
• Open to the public – proceeds support the Historical Society as approved by the friends
